Went to my endocrinologist this afternoon, and even though he told he couldn't answer many questions about pancreas transplant, the information he was able to give was very useful and enlightening. I just got the call - they weren't able to use the pancreas, so the kidney went to someone else. Apparently I'm only geting called if both are being considered, so I need to get that cleared up soon. No telling how many chances I I lost out on because of that. I was led to believe I would more then likely get the kidney first, and the pancreas ( Read more... )
